Doggone It, Seadog Is Blushing.

The newest issue of The New Barker, Florida’s top-dog lifestyle magazine for pups and their people, features a terrific profile of Seadog Cottages, warmly reviewing “Tampa Bay’s Premier Bed And Get Your Own Damn Breakfast” as a dog-friendly, extended-stay destination for vacations, job relocations, corporate housing and anyone misplaced by home renovations or construction projects.

The 1,100-word story, penned by The New Barker editor Anna Cooke, traces Seadog Cottages’ eight-year existence in Safety Harbor, recognizes the circa 1922 property’s recent Historical Society designation and quotes numerous dog-owning guests about their Seadog experience.

“This feels like my home away from home,” says Christine, who made Seadog her residence for two years while waiting on construction to be completed on her downtown condo.

“They’re not a ‘pretend’ dog-friendly place,” says Gail, visiting from Maine.

“No attention to detail has been spared,” writes Cooke. The story, headlined “Follow Your Bliss,” also pays homage to Seadogs’ name inspiration – Border Collies Truman, Mallory and Fausto – along with current K-9 concierges Louis the Goldendoodle and new resident Bordie Collie, Captain.

The story even mentions Seadog humans, Mick and Desanya and raves about Safety Harbor as a dog-friendly downtown.

Thank you, The New Barker.
