Santa's Helper Joins Safety Harbor City Staff
In case you happen to be asking yourself “so, just how cool is Downtown Safety Harbor during the holidays?” here is the answer.
Not only have Christmas decorations gone up at the downtown gazebo, check out who was putting them up and checking them twice. An official Santa helper. Dressed in the traditional red and green uniform of every Santa elf, a Safety Harbor City worker began the task of turning the downtown park into a festive tropical winter wonderland.
Did we mention that there are clear, blue skies today with temperatures in the mid 70s.
It’s enough to warm the heart of any grinch. But don’t just take Seadog’s word for it. Come check out the coolest, jolliest little town around.
Two new restaurants have opened in the fantastic, recently completed Bay To Bay Properties mixed-use development, adding to an already thriving restaurant row.
The official city tree lighting took place on December 6. On Saturday, December 21, the Safety Harbor Christmas Parade takes place down Main Street. And, later that evening, it's the supercool Smart Growth Lighted Bike Parade, where some 600 decorated bicycles will navigate the streets and neighborhoods, spreading holiday cheer. The bike parade will start at the Safety Harbor Waterfront Park.
Seadog Cottages — Tampa Bay’s Premier Bed And Get Your Own Damn Breakfast — cannot be happier than being a part of Downtown Safety Harbor’s bright future.
You might say just the thought of what is ahead makes us light up.
